Mission Opportunities
Crosswinds is a group of people committed to living out their faith in God, therefore we are involved in a number of mission projects:
Family Promise
Crosswinds was instrumental in bringing this national program to Phoenix, which is a cooperative ministry helping homeless families get back on their feet. Several Valley churches take turns offering shelter and meals, a week at a time, to families who would otherwise have no place to stay. Church members stay overnight with them, and other members provide an evening meal.

Food Drives
We continually seek to increase our giving to local food banks, and sometimes challenge other churches to a “food fight” to see who can raise the most.

We Care Packets
Our Lend-a-Hand group collects donations of socks, combs, shampoo and other toiletry items for their We-Care-Packets. Last year they made over 1,000 packets, which were then distributed to local shelters.

Our mission committee is continually presenting us with different opportunities to serve-and they are always open to new ideas. Where is God leading you?
